I’ve been thinking and reading a lot lately about how important it is for kids to play outside. It is even important for things like eye development, and I want my kid to grow up loving Nature. That’s one reason I signed up for a Nature challenge. We’re on vacation w/ the 1 year old, so it’s been a little easier to get outside than normal, but it’s so fun and inspiring to watch him discover simple things like  birds and leaves and caterpillars. When we get home, I plan to keep up our habit of getting out as much as possible.

We explored our friends neighborhood today. So fun to see animals in Texas that we don’t see in MN!
