REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth More Fruits and VeggiesHow does eating more fruits and vegetables and less meat positively affect yourself, other people, and our planet?
Chad Hoekzema 10/04/2019 9:21 AMEating more fruits and vegetables is one the easiest ways to reduce our carbon footprint. Livestock is one of the leading causes of carbon emissions and uses an outrageous amount of water compared to fruits and vegetables. Eating fruits and vegetables also has a positive impact on your life by giving you the nutrients and vitamins that meat does not have. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Work-Life BalanceHow might practicing work-life balance lead to a more sustainable life for yourself? How might it contribute to sustainability more broadly?
Chad Hoekzema 10/04/2019 9:18 AMBalancing work-life relieves stress and keeps a positive outlook on your weekly challenges. Knowing that you only have 8 hours of working and the rest of the day to relax or spend on other extracurricular activities makes you more engaged for the next work day.
