How do I get more meditative time into my day, even if I struggle to get up early enough to have a quiet home to myself for uninterrupted meditation time?

    Nature
People are motivated to forage for many different reasons: as a source for food, a means of income, to connect with nature, to participate in cultural tradition, transmitting specific ecological knowledge, or as a means of stewarding local and native plant populations. What is your chief motivation for foraging?

I am interested in foraging to reduce my impact on our resources. If it's possible to find food already growing, then I don't have to spend money on food that is packaged, marketed and shipped. Also, I increase my self-reliance.

Mushrooms and chestnuts are my favorite this time of year. We go hunting as a family activity. It's great fun and delicious too.

I can walk with my children to the park with the soccer ball.
