Avi's actions
Health
Exercise Daily
Exercise is a great stress blaster! I will exercise for 60 minute(s) each day.
Water
5-Minute Showers
I will save up to 20 gallons (75 L) of water each day by taking 5-minute showers.
Waste
Skip the Straw
Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 5 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.
Simplicity
Less Screen Time
I will replace 180 minute(s) of screen time each day with other activities.
Food
Reduce Animal Products
I will enjoy 1 meatless meal(s) and/or 1 vegan meal(s) each day this week.

REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Skip the StrawHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?
Avi Halperin 10/17/2019 9:59 PMA new trend I have noticed at several fast food restaurants is that you will be asked if you want a straw when ordering a drink. This has made completing this challenge a lot easier for me; the question centers me and reminds me of my goal.-
Avi Halperin 10/17/2019 10:03 PMI accidently clicked reflection question, I meant to post this just as a post of today's challenge specifically; hence my post doesn't actually answer that question

REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Less Screen TimeWhat did you notice in implementing this challenge? Was it hard to choose other activities over screen time? How did you decide to spend your time?
Avi Halperin 10/17/2019 9:56 PMThe most prominant screen time in my life, and many others' I would imagine, is my phone. It's damn near impossible to ignore, because its (almost) always with you, and there are so many different functions this small screen can do that it's easy to lose track of how much time you spend using it. One of the ways that I have chosen to reduce the amount of screen time in a day is that I am going to delete snapchat from my phone for a few months. My friend recently did it, and he said that he has been able to focus much more on the important tasks he has, and that he is on his phone less often. -
Avi Halperin 10/10/2019 2:00 AMVery happy that I was able to get all my goals completed today:) I am going to make a new challenge for myself; to add a new challenge every week, if I complete all my challenges at least one day that week! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Avi Halperin 10/08/2019 6:15 PMFinding someone to workout with you, a friend or family member, is a great way to spend time together, and keep each other accountable for your goals, and helps stay motivated
