Most likely the American River that supplies us with water.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

This helps my family by having a schedule for what we are having for dinner so we can all know in advance.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

If the environment is unhealthy all around then that will affect people in the community and I'm in the community so I'll be affected too.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste
What one thing could you do right away to reduce your waste?

I could not ask for a bottle or cup of water.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
It is often said that “you can’t feed the world with just organic food.” What is your response to that statement?

    Christopher Haddad 10/08/2019 1:01 PM
True but you can feed 99% of the world.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

What have you noticed about your purchases? Where are you inclined to make shifts, if any?

I spend a lot of money by ordering things off of amazon.

Since purchasing on Amazon involves a lot of shipping and fossil fuel use, what would you think about shopping locally for things you need?
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Energy
What are other easy things you could do to save energy and reduce your environmental footprint?

One of the easiest things to do to lessen energy is to not use lights as often.
