My challenges are going really well and I noticed that this is becoming more and more like a habit every day when I do it. It is starting to become like second nature at home and at school. I realized that just a little bit of my actions can make a big difference to the world and will make a difference in my house and all the bills that my mom has to pay.

    Waste
Maybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?

It could be hard to use a reusable coffee mug because maybe you don't want to wash dishes every day but knowing why you should use a reusable coffee mug would change other people's perspective. Using a reusable coffee mug would bring less plastic/waste to the landfill

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

Using reusable water bottles will not bring more plastic to the landfill and will help the earth in tons of ways. When having a reusable water bottle you can make a habit by using it everyday and when having a reusable water bottle can encourage other people to do the same for the same reason once you tell them why you use a reusable water bottle every day.

How does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?

A couple reasons why it is good to practice gratitude and how it can keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world is because, when you give gratitude you feel better because you are making someone else feel better about themselves which makes you feel better while doing so. Also, when practicing gratitude you can make friends throughout the process which can cause a “ripple effect” which is when one person makes an act of kindness then people that saw that person giving kindness will do the same and so forth.

    Water
Five minute showers are an impressive step toward reducing your water footprint. What is the next step you can take?

Yes, I took five minute showers, and, yes, I could to something even better to reduce climate change and water footprint to help the ecosystem. Such as going to one of the marches or blogging on the internet to inform about what is going on in this century . If people don’t know what is going on then how can they change their actions especially companies such as  Dunkin Donuts, Friendlies, McDonalds, and e.c.t.

    Water
How do you think climate change will affect your region’s water supply? Think about the effects of weather, storms, salinity, and sea level rise, among other changes. How can you find out more about climate change’s impact to your region's water?

Climate change will effect my reigons water supply because the temiture will rise and more water will evaporate in the sky and that will cause more intese rainstorms and when that happens this willl cause floods all over the globe and rewin peoples home.

I can find out more about climit change and how it can effect my region's water supply because, I can easilly use google and see what is goingon and use my resourses to help. Or I can whatch the news or newsela.
