    Food Whole Foods Diet
Michael Pollan states that “it is better to pay the grocer (our edit: or the farmer!) than the doctor.” What are your thoughts on this idea?

I agree 100%! if you are taking the time to eat good, healthy, wholesome meals it'll save you a ton on medical bills later in life.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

How is creativity necessary for practicing simplicity?

For me simplicity is just living into your value system. For example: I value health so I prioritize eating clean, working out, meditating, etc. I value family, so I invest my time and energy into my family.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Healthy Sleep
Consider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?

I sleep about 5-6 hours a night now which is adequate but could be better. I need to go to bed earlier because I don't compromise starting my day at 5 am regardless of what time I go to bed.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation Walk Instead
Half of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Do you feel that this fact applies to you? If so, how might you incorporate more muscle-powered transportation in your daily life?

This fact absolutely applies to me. I will rent and ride scooters less, and walk more. I have set a goal for 30 miles a week!

in my opinion, attitude is a choice and the more I practice an attitude of gratitude, the more I focus on positivity for myself and others. If I can be an example to my circle of influence then there is a good chance they too can influence someone in their circle!
