Exercise is a great stress blaster! I will exercise for 45 minute(s) each day.
Simplicity
Meditate
I will meditate or create a moment of silence for 10 minute(s) each day to reflect on things important to me.

Jessica Freeman 10/22/2019 8:03 AMWent to Brentwood Park last night to explore something new. Brentwood Park is on the powerline trail and is a slope. It was a journey getting to the top but what a great view from up there! I'm glad I picked this park that's on my way home to explore!-
Jessica Freeman 10/22/2019 3:47 PMActually I meant Burntwood! On SW Hart. Opps! -
Andrew Keough 10/22/2019 3:03 PMBrentwood Park on SE 60th ? Any chance you mean Mt Tabor, as Brentwood is almost flat, hence the soccer and baseball fields. :-) Cheers for exploring! Ak

Jessica Freeman 10/21/2019 9:27 AMAlmost done with the challenge! I think I have learned where I'm doing well (bringing my own mug/water bottle, not using plastic bags, etc) and where I have room to improve (reducing driving is my big one). -
Jessica Freeman 10/20/2019 6:11 PMMy homemade bread! It was ok, but I'm excited to try again and improve. :) -
Jessica Freeman 10/19/2019 6:18 PMIt was a great rainy day at Gabriel Park with the dogs today! Also trying to make a sourdough starter. We'll see if it works tomorrow! -
Jessica Freeman 10/18/2019 8:27 AMI set up my herb garden last night. I'm interest to see how this method works!
-
Jessica Freeman 10/17/2019 9:52 AMIt might be a busy weekend for me finishing up my remaining challenges! The one-time challenges have all been fun so far though. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHigh Impact Action Track Learn About Local Environmental Justice ConcernsWho is most affected by environmental degration and/or environmental irresponsiblity in your community? How are they affected?
Jessica Freeman 10/16/2019 12:46 PMIt's always the people that can't afford to leave. When a hurricane is approaching Florida and everyone is told to evacuate, a lot of people don't have the resources to evacuate. It's not stubbornness that keeps people at home in a dangerous situation, it's because they don't have anywhere to evacuate to. On a smaller scale from hurricanes. when a local river starts getting polluted, people with resources leave. -
Jessica Freeman 10/16/2019 10:23 AMI've been hearing more and more about Terracycle lately. I went to the website today and discovered there's a lot of recycle programs that are free! Terracycle recycles items that aren't accepted curbside. Most of the programs have a fee, but brands are starting to sponsor recycling of their packaging to make it free! So great! -
Jessica Freeman 10/15/2019 9:29 AMSo glad I did a big meal prep on Sunday! Since my lunch for today was already packed I got to spend a little extra time enjoying a cup of coffee with my family this morning.
