Tracking my purchases has made me realize that not only am I buying items which are contributing to e-waste and plastic pollution. There is also a significant amount of pollution tied to each product due to shipping and manufacturing.

it is so important to think upstream and downstream, those impacts are so much harder to see but so important when considering our impact.  Good for you.

I've noticed a lot of my purchases are excessive and not only account for future waste but since a lot of purchases are made online there is shipping further than if I were to go to a local store.
