David Estes 9/30/2019 8:56 AMGovernment subsidies make meat unrealistically cheap in the U.S. Meat consumption contributes to global warming, increases the rate of deforestation and extinction, exacerbates global potable water shortages, and is all too often the primary cause of innumerable animals' having a very bad day.
