Great job to everyone who participated.  The world is a slightly better place for our effort :)   For those who could use a couple more points, there's still time!  Get on it!

Doing this using the free version of the "Calm" app.  It's very useful for anyone just getting started with mediation - I highly recommend it!

Today I am grateful for the experience of student teaching at Amy Biehl, the time off from student teaching Amy Biehl, and for the opportunity to learn from and teach such an interesting, engaging and generally awesome group of students.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Reduce Animal Products
Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

Government subsidies make meat unrealistically cheap in the U.S.  Meat consumption contributes to global warming, increases the rate of deforestation and extinction, exacerbates global potable water shortages, and is all too often the primary cause of innumerable animals' having a very bad day.
