Mary Dobrzynski 10/23/2019 4:07 PMThe final day ...... its it's been an awesome challenge for me. I've learned a lot and added a few more sustainable habit to my repertoire from the 2018 Plastic Free Challenge. But, today is my 46th birthday and I digressed a bit from my stated challenges; taking a longer than 5 minute shower and eating non Organic foods. Don't not fear, I will return to the Challenge acquired habit tomorrow. Until next year, or the next Challenge ...... Smiles, Mary Beth -
Mary Dobrzynski 10/21/2019 9:03 AMThrough this challenge I am constantly monitoring all potential toxic items which I might buy and bring home. Home cleaning products is a great beginning. Now its onto other items as well. -
Mary Dobrzynski 10/20/2019 1:38 PMFantastically ..... 21 days and several "new"/"revisited" challenges have become a habit for the ages. -
Mary Dobrzynski 10/19/2019 5:34 AM5 or less minute showers are becoming a breeze. Luke warm water temp helps me to get in and out in record time. -
Mary Dobrzynski 10/18/2019 6:04 AMAwesome🤗 I will miss it when it's over. This morning, before sunrise, I prepped several veggies I purchased from the farmers market and tossed them in freezer; green beans, peppers and zucchini. Together with the cauliflower, broccoli and peas already in the freezer I will have a colorful medley of veggies to roast. This is a new "prep" method for me. Yeah!!!! -
Mary Dobrzynski 10/17/2019 1:51 PMMindful eating for all 3 meals today - Yeah Me!!! -
Mary Dobrzynski 10/16/2019 4:49 AMSplendidly 🤗🍁 I've always caught up with email as I have breakfast and dinner. Eating mindfully with distraction has been tough. I'm starting slowly by focusing on one meal a day and for the most part, work. -
Mary Dobrzynski 10/15/2019 11:58 AMFood prep ..... i am a prep, cook and eat type person. I recently began prepping some of my food for the week to save cooking time. The food items are basics to most of my meals; brown rice, sweet potatoes, beans and greens for 1/2 the week. So far, its working. This method also eliminates making too much food - I am also not a fan of leftovers. -
Mary Dobrzynski 10/14/2019 5:55 AMStill going strong 🤗 wants vs needs challenge is possibly the most difficult among all of mine. It's not the material items as much as the food items. I have gradually become better at menu planning, taking a list to the store and only buying what is needed for the weekly, planned, meals. 😊🍁 -
Mary Dobrzynski 10/12/2019 7:05 PMIsn't it odd that Produce at the farmers market isn't identified as "normal" or "organic"? Some fresh produce at the grocery store might be designated "organic" but its mostly the packaged and canned goods. Why?
