This challenge is way easier then I thought it would be! I am using at least 3 reusable containers daily instead of plastic bags. This limits the amount of trash I throw out everyday.

My challenge is going very well. I have completed my challenge everyday. I mostly complete my challenge at lunch by bringing all of my sandwich and snacks in reusable containers instead of plastic bags.

Waste

What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?

If I don't have a reusable bag when I need one I will just carry the item. I can also always remember to bring reusable bags when I go shopping by leaving them in my parents cars. This way I will always have them with me.
