When I was doing this challenge, I reduced my normal shower time to five minutes, as I counted in my head to 300. Although reducing your shower time can save 20 gallons of water I did, I also would like to upgrade my normal shower head to a low flow shower head. Normal shower heads use about 5 gallons of water per minute, while a low flow shower head only uses 2.5 gallons per minute or less. This way I can reduce the amount of gallons of water I use.
