Simplicity
Go for a Daily Walk
I will take a walk for 10 minutes each day.
Waste
Skip the Straw
Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 2 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.
Water
Say No to Plastic Straws
An estimated 71% of seabirds and 30% of turtles have been found with plastics in their stomachs. When they ingest plastic, marine life has a 50% mortality rate. By asking for no straw when placing a drink order, I will keep 3 plastic straw(s) of out of the ocean each day.

REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Skip the StrawHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?
Jacob Colanero 10/16/2019 6:58 AMSo I have not been using plastic straws for the past few weeks but my family has and i try to use metal straws when possible and make them use it instead of plastic. I'm also trying to recycle as much as possible and its not much help for the planet but it helps!-
Jacob Colanero 10/16/2019 7:07 AMdidn't know it was asking me a question I thought i was just posting sorry
