REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Choose Two-Sided PrintingChoosing two-sided printing can be an easy adjustment on your computer settings. How can you help others make this same switch? Can it be encouraged company wide?

REFLECTION QUESTIONHigh Impact Action Track Zero-Waste CookingIn North America, up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. Chef Steven Satterfield advocates for utilizing every part of a vegetable. How can you incorporate using an entire vegetable, including the skins, tops, and stalks during your next meal prep?
Michelle Cannici 10/14/2019 12:23 PMI have made some vegetable broth by cooking it all down. Also when we eat most veggies, we eat the skins. potatoes, squash, etc.. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?
Michelle Cannici 10/14/2019 12:22 PMI have been weaning my family off of meat. I think that there is this notion that we need to eat meet to get enough protein...and its what the cavemen did.
well we are living a lot longer and have knowledge of how to grow our own food and ways to make enriched foods without including all of the meats. plus...the meat isnt great for our systems anyhow. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Whole Foods DietMichael Pollan states that “it is better to pay the grocer (our edit: or the farmer!) than the doctor.” What are your thoughts on this idea?
Michelle Cannici 10/14/2019 12:20 PMI think this is fair. We are now eating a much cleaner diet at home so that we understand what we are putting in our bodies.
