Isabella's actions
Simplicity
Buy Used Clothes
I will spend 5 minutes learning about the perils of fast fashion and will buy my clothes at second-hand stores when I shop.
Simplicity
Limit Social Media
I will limit my social media use to once each day reducing my daily use by 15 minute(s)
Water
Insulate Water Pipes and Water Heater
I will avoid wasting water while waiting for the shower or sink to heat up.
Health
Healthy Sleep
Effectively working for sustainability requires self care! I will commit to getting 20 more minute(s) of sleep each night to achieve at least 7 hours per night.
Water
Say No to Plastic Straws
An estimated 71% of seabirds and 30% of turtles have been found with plastics in their stomachs. When they ingest plastic, marine life has a 50% mortality rate. By asking for no straw when placing a drink order, I will keep 4 plastic straw(s) of out of the ocean each day.
Nature
Go for a Daily Walk
I will take a 15-minute walk outside each day.

Isabella Campbell 10/13/2019 5:13 PMwhen I went out to dinner yesterday the staws were biodegradable and the paper on top was recycled so that was pretty dope other than that I got a new water bottle for practice so I didn't have to use the plastic ones anymore. we really out here saving the turtles ;) -
