REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity De-Clutter My HomeHow can you prevent yourself from accumulating more things in the future?
Elizabeth Calma 10/03/2019 11:08 PMI've been working on cleaning and organizing slowly for the past month or so. Today I started going through items more to see what could be donated. I also found a decent amount of recyclables scattered throughout my room and don't remember how they all got there. In the future, I need to be more mindful of what I bring into my house and what I decide to hold on to. I'm used to being surrounded by random stuff, but with school back in session, it's all giving me stress. Now that I have less stuff, I need to organize so it can be easier to tell when I have things I don't want or need. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity MeditateWhat would you like to invest more time in reflecting on?
Elizabeth Calma 10/03/2019 10:53 PMI don't think I reflect often enough on things that are going well. In the past when I've meditated sporadically, I've let my mind wander to whatever issues were going on and imagined possible outcomes instead of thinking about what I could do to turn the situation around. Now that I'm trying to create a more consistent meditation schedule, I'm trying to think of what I need to do that day to solve my issues first so that my mind can be clear enough to have more focused thoughts about other subjects or to rest and stop thinking for a little while. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Choose Two-Sided PrintingChoosing two-sided printing can be an easy adjustment on your computer settings. How can you help others make this same switch? Can it be encouraged company wide?
Elizabeth Calma 10/03/2019 1:26 PMUnless I have to print something one sided, I usually always print double-sided. A few years back, when I finally figured out how to change the settings, my family started printing double sided as well. Convincing people to print double sided can be as easy as showing them how simple it is to change the settings. In a company context, using less paper can be accomplished through printing only when necessary and having double-sided printing set as the default computer setting.
