Say No to Plastic Straws

An estimated 71% of seabirds and 30% of turtles have been found with plastics in their stomachs. When they ingest plastic, marine life has a 50% mortality rate. By asking for no straw when placing a drink order, I will keep 1 plastic straw(s) of out of the ocean each day.

Vegetable bags for sure at the grocery store. I need to take the time to purchase reusable vegetables bags and take them along with my reusable grocery shopping bags.

    Waste Use a Reusable Mug
Maybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?

I have been using reusable cups for awhile now and actually feel guilty when I forget it and use a disposable cup because I know what an impact it makes. I have a reusable cup at my desk at work and also several at home to use so they are always available.

Practicing gratitude helps you realized everything you have to be thankful for and motivates you to provide the same to others.

I can go for walks with my family on Sundays so they can get exercise too!
