Persephone Bowie 10/16/2019 12:13 PMMe and my mum went around Santa fe and supported Native Americans. We bought beautiful jewelry from them and we met a woman named Ive (pronounced Eve). She told an inspiring story on how she started learning to create pieces of jewelry. When she was younger, she would collect beads and thread them through string. She would get rocks and practice tying knots around them. They grew up poor, but she became good at making necklaces and bracelets and started to sell them at school. The money she earned would be given to her mother. Secretly, the mum saved the money Ive would give her. Once Ive graduated high school, her mum gave her the money in order to buy quality crafting items which manged Ive to sell her very first piece for 50$. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Plant an Herb GardenConsider the ways you can garden: a plot of land? a patio container? hanging basket? windowsill gardens? What would work best for your living situation and lifestyle?
Persephone Bowie 9/26/2019 6:29 PMI would love to have a roof top garden or a backyard garden. I especially would love if people could take care of their own section of a garden so we could have one big garden. We could share fruits, vegetables, and herbs. -

Persephone Bowie 9/26/2019 6:27 PMSocial inequalities have always diminished communities by separation and a hierarchy. Class is a big one. Upper, middle, and lower class have always been separated and never touched. There are more inconveniences to the lower class. Race also ties into class. These "inequalities" just separate us more and more
