    Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

    Richer countries tend to eat more animal protein. In fact, as the wealth of countries like China and Vietnam increase their diets are shifting away from the traditional vegetables and fish to have more beef and pork. Cattle  emit a lot of methane as part of their digestion process.
