Waste

Reduce Single-Use Disposables

Historically, marginalized and low-income communities live closer to landfills, contributing to a multitude of health problems. I will find out how I can limit single-use items and do my best to limit the waste I generate.

It would probably be helpful to turn off the TV earlier than I usually do. I know the "blue light" from phones and TVs affects your sleep patterns. Reading a book right before bed usually helps me get tired enough to go to sleep.  I should replace some of that TV time with more reading.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Buy From a Farmers Market
What is one food choice that you make, or could make, that would do more good and less harm?

I enjoy trying vegetarian meals from time to time, but it would be beneficial to dedicate at least one day a week to avoid eating meat.
