Energy
Power Down the Computer
I will power down my computer and monitor when not using it for more than 2 hours, saving up to (1.1) lbs of CO2 each day that I do this.
Health
Happiness
I will write down three things every day that I am grateful for, or send one email every day thanking or praising someone.
Waste
Use Reusable Bags
I will not accept any disposable bags when making purchases.
Waste
Recycle Everything I Can
Contamination prevents what is recyclable from being recycled. I will research and recycle all materials that are accepted by local haulers or drop stations in my community, making sure to not contaminate recyclables with non-recyclables.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

Sarah Adair 10/09/2019 3:11 AMAbout to board the train from Raleigh to Charlotte - I grateful every time I make this trip for this alternative to driving between our two offices. It only takes an extra half hour (and let’s face it we always get caught in at least a half hours worth of traffic) and you can work -or sleep - the whole way. Even better? Virtual meetings. -
Sarah Adair 10/04/2019 6:53 PMWho has a favorite reusable bag that you can keep folded up on a keychain or in your purse? I am traveling today and definitely fell off the accept-no-disposable-bags bandwagon when I found myself in a Whole Foods with no bag and two very full hands. -
