I picked a lot of "gardening" activities --- but we haven't had enough rain! So I would like to dig up the piece of lawn in the backyard but the ground is still rock solid; I would like to plant the herb seeds I've got saved up but don't want to commit if I'm not going to have enough water (the piece of garden I'm attending daily is being nurtured with the last bit of rainwater saved from last season, but I don't think I have enough to start planting herbs in earnest. It also just dawned on me that I should plant my herbs under the bit persimmon tree so they are sheltered from the shade). It's tough living in a country where the temperature is rising more than the global average! And I get so annoyed with my neighbours and their green lawns --- like, I would rather have a brown front lawn now and still have drinking water in January. It hasn't rained, people! Where do you think your tap water (or your borehole water, for that matter) comes from?! <deep breath. rant over>

As most of the challenges I chose is garden-focused, I was so glad we had some rain last night! Was actually able to convince some of the weeds to be pulled up. Hopefully we get more rain soon and that this isn't another drought season
